We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agricultural Operations Program Manager to join our dynamic team in Al Ain. This position plays a critical role in managing and optimizing agricultural programs within the real estate sector, focusing on sustainable practices and innovative solutions. The successful candidate will oversee agricultural operations, coordinate with various stakeholders, and drive initiatives that enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability within our real estate developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee agricultural operations programs from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful program execution. Foster relationships with local farmers, agricultural experts, and community organizations.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and promote sustainable agricultural practices that align with environmental standards. Advocate for eco-friendly solutions and assess the impact of agricultural operations on local ecosystems.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to agricultural productivity, operational efficiency, and environmental impact. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs for staff and local farmers to enhance skills and knowledge in modern agricultural practices, technology use, and sustainability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all agricultural operations comply with local, regional, and national regulations. Stay updated on agricultural laws and policies impacting the real estate sector.
- Budget Management: Manage program budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Innovation and Technology Integration: Identify and implement innovative agricultural technologies and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and crop yields.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agribusiness, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural operations management, preferably within the real estate sector or related industries.
- Strong understanding of sustainable agricultural practices and technologies.
- Proven experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
