Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and split systems, specifically designed for aerospace and defense applications.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC systems to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions promptly.
- Perform preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to assess system performance and recommend enhancements or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations while handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used, labor hours, and system performance data.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other staff members.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest technologies and practices in HVAC systems specific to the aerospace and defense industry.
- Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs as needed to minimize system downtime.
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for air conditioning systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly within the aerospace and defense sectors.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to air conditioning and refrigeration.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Valid UAE driver’s license is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC certification, EPA certification) are an advantage.
