Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Air Traffic Control Specialist Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will support air traffic control operations by assisting in the coordination of flight movements, ensuring safety and efficiency in the airspace, and providing critical information to air traffic controllers. This role is vital in maintaining smooth transportation and logistics operations in a bustling air traffic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist Air Traffic Controllers:
- Support air traffic controllers in monitoring and directing aircraft movements on the ground and in the airspace.
- Relay important information to pilots, including weather updates, flight paths, and any changes in air traffic conditions.

2. Flight Coordination:
- Help coordinate take-offs, landings, and flight routes to ensure compliance with safety standards and efficient air traffic flow.
- Utilize air traffic control systems and software to track and manage flights in real time.

3. Communication:
- Maintain clear and concise communication with air traffic controllers, pilots, and other aviation personnel.
- Document flight plans, delays, and other relevant information to assist in decision-making processes.

4. Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure the safety of all aircraft and personnel.
- Assist in conducting safety checks and audits of air traffic control operations.

5. Data Entry and Management:
- Input and manage flight data, including arrivals, departures, and traffic patterns, into the control systems.
- Prepare reports and analysis on air traffic performance metrics as required.

6. Emergency Response:
- Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures during unexpected situations, ensuring a swift and organized response to potential crises.

7. Training and Development:
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to air traffic control operations.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations, technology, and best practices in the aviation industry.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in air traffic control, aviation operations, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in air traffic control systems and software.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information:
- The candidate must be willing to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as air traffic control operates 24/7.
- A successful background check and security clearance will be required.
