Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, compliance, and performance of our fleet, which supports our consumer goods distribution operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in aircraft maintenance and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of aircraft to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of aircraft systems, including airframes, engines, avionics, and electrical systems.
- Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate maintenance schedules, minimizing downtime and maximizing fleet availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, providing timely solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance programs and procedures to enhance safety and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Participate in safety audits and inspections, contributing to the overall safety management system of the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong emphasis on hands-on technical work.
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (B1/B2) from a recognized authority.
- Proficient knowledge of aviation regulations, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
- Experience with a variety of aircraft types preferred, particularly in the consumer goods sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
