Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance, repair, and inspection, particularly within the consumer goods sector. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet, which is crucial to our operations in the consumer goods industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems, including engines, electrical systems, and airframes, to identify any potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate testing equipment and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to implement modifications and upgrades to aircraft systems as needed.
- Respond to in-flight technical issues, providing on-ground and in-flight support to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Stay updated on industry standards, advancements in technology, and regulatory changes to ensure best practices in aircraft maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an aircraft maintenance program is preferred.
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (e.g., FAA A&P, EASA Part 66, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and inspection.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance practices.
- Proficient with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with consumer goods industry operations and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Working Conditions:

- The role may require working in a hangar environment, on the tarmac, or during flight operations.
- Availability for shift work, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
