Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Ambulance Paramedic to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care and transportation for patients in urgent need of medical attention. As an Ambulance Paramedic, you will be responsible for assessing patients’ conditions, implementing immediate care procedures, and ensuring safe transport to medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in various environments, including manufacturing facilities.
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and determining the level of consciousness.
- Administer emergency medical treatment, including CPR, wound care, and medication administration, in adherence to established protocols.
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while continuously monitoring their condition and providing necessary care during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, medical personnel, and other first responders to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain and operate ambulance equipment, ensuring all medical supplies and apparatus are fully stocked and functioning.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records of treatments provided and patient responses.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency medical care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote health and safety standards within manufacturing settings.
- Educate patients and their families on health issues and post-treatment care.

Qualifications:

- Valid Paramedic certification from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in emergency medical services or a similar role.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ALS) protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Familiarity with the unique health and safety challenges present in manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and collected under pressure.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid UAE driving license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and patients.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a variety of environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
- Capability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
