### Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Art Restorer Assistant to join our team in Sharjah, specializing in the retail sector. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about art conservation and restoration, who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment. The Art Restorer Assistant will support our lead restorers in the preservation and restoration of various artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative art pieces.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Assistance in Restoration Projects: Collaborate with the lead art restorers in assessing the condition of artworks and assisting in the restoration process, including cleaning, repairing, and conserving pieces.

- Inventory Management: Help maintain an organized inventory of artworks in need of restoration, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of progress on each piece.

- Research and Documentation: Conduct research on the historical background of artworks and document restoration processes, materials used, and conservation techniques applied.

- Material Preparation: Prepare and mix restoration materials such as adhesives, paints, and varnishes under the guidance of senior restorers.

- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of artworks using appropriate conservation techniques, ensuring the integrity and longevity of each piece.

- Customer Interaction: Assist in providing information and support to retail customers regarding restoration services, helping to educate them on the value of art conservation.

- Exhibition Support: Assist in the preparation and installation of artworks for exhibitions, ensuring that pieces are displayed safely and effectively.

- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best practices in art restoration and conservation techniques, attending workshops and training sessions as required.

### Qualifications:

- Education: A degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Art Conservation, Restoration, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in art restoration, conservation, or a related field is required.

- Artistic Skills: Strong artistic skills with an understanding of various art mediums and techniques.

- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work, ensuring high-quality results in restoration tasks.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with conservation materials, tools, and techniques used in art restoration.

- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently when required.
