Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Barista to join our vibrant team in a unique real estate environment in Abu Dhabi. As an Assistant Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee and beverage experiences to our clients, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for assisting the lead barista in daily operations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that our beverage offerings reflect the quality and professionalism of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead barista in preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization in the coffee preparation area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Engage with clients and guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing their beverage preferences and inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee, tea, and other supplies, and reporting any shortages to the lead barista.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours, including managing orders and maintaining a smooth workflow.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean and functioning properly, and reporting any maintenance issues to management.
- Contribute to the creation of a welcoming atmosphere for clients and guests in our real estate office, promoting a warm and inviting environment.
- Stay updated on coffee trends and beverage innovations to provide suggestions and improvements to the menu.
- Participate in training programs to enhance barista skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a coffee shop, café, or similar environment.
- Passion for coffee and beverages, with a willingness to learn and experiment with new recipes and techniques.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with clients and create a positive experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment, with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
