We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Electrician to join our team in Dubai. The Assistant Electrician will work closely with the Electrician to ensure the electrical systems in our retail establishment are operating efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Electrician in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in the retail store.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment as needed.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory of electrical supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical training in electrical work.
- At least 2-5 years of experience working as an electrician or assistant electrician in a similar retail environment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid electrical license or certification preferred.
