We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Logistics Manager in our agriculture company based in Sharjah. The Assistant Logistics Manager will work closely with the Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the transportation and distribution of agricultural products.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating transportation routes for the timely delivery of agricultural products
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to coordinate logistics operations
- Assist in managing inventory levels and optimizing warehouse storage space
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures for all logistics activities
- Handle any issues or delays in transportation and distribution and provide solutions to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in negotiating contracts with transportation and logistics providers to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in logistics management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 2-5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the agriculture industry
- Strong understanding of transportation and distribution logistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of UAE transportation regulations and requirements
