Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in agricultural infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, with a particular focus on agricultural applications, and will be responsible for supporting senior engineers in the design, development, and execution of various projects aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects related to agriculture, including irrigation systems, drainage networks, farm structures, and land development.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data for project planning and design, ensuring compliance with local regulations and agricultural best practices.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Support project management activities by tracking project progress, assisting in the preparation of project schedules, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct material testing and site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project proposals.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and community members, to gather input and provide updates on project status.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in agricultural engineering and civil infrastructure to contribute innovative ideas to project development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on agricultural projects preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly as they relate to agriculture and environmental sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to civil engineering and agricultural practices in the UAE is an advantage.
