Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Farm Manager to join our innovative agricultural team. This position is unique as it operates within the Aerospace and Defense sector, where agricultural practices intersect with advanced technology and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will support the Farm Manager in overseeing daily operations, implementing sustainable farming practices, and contributing to the integration of aerospace technology in agricultural processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Farm Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating all farm operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Implement and monitor agricultural production schedules, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
- Collaborate with engineering and technology teams to integrate advanced agricultural technologies, such as precision farming and automated systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of crops and facilities to assess plant health, soil conditions, and equipment functionality.
- Assist in managing a team of farm workers, providing training and guidance in best agricultural practices and safety protocols.
- Monitor and manage farm budgets, inventory, and supply chain logistics to ensure efficient resource use and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in research and development initiatives to explore innovative farming techniques that align with aerospace and defense sustainability goals.
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including crop yields, pest management, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management, outlining farm performance metrics and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
- Strong understanding of sustainable farming practices and innovative agricultural technologies.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in agricultural software and data management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
