Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects within this high-stakes industry. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for contributing to innovative aerospace and defense solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Project Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Participate in project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Support risk management efforts by identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Track project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.
- Assist in stakeholder communication and manage expectations through effective reporting and presentations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights and recommendations based on project outcomes.
- Help coordinate project resources, including personnel and materials, to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance project execution and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in project management, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of aerospace and defense regulations, standards, and practices is highly desirable.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
