Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Athletic Therapist to join our team in Ajman, specializing in the unique intersection of athletic therapy and the financial services industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the health and well-being of our employees through the development of tailored therapeutic programs, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitation protocols that align with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of employees' physical abilities, identifying any potential issues that may affect their performance or well-being in the workplace.
- Injury Prevention: Design and implement preventative programs and workshops focused on reducing the risk of injuries related to physical activity, ergonomics, and workplace-related stress.
- Rehabilitation: Develop individualized rehabilitation programs for employees recovering from injuries, ensuring timely and effective recovery to facilitate their return to optimal performance levels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, management, and other health professionals to create a holistic approach to employee wellness, integrating athletic therapy into our broader health and safety initiatives.
- Education and Training: Provide educational workshops and training sessions on injury prevention, ergonomics, and wellness strategies to empower employees in maintaining their health and fitness.
- Monitoring Progress: Track and document employee progress throughout rehabilitation and wellness programs, adjusting protocols as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Emergency Response: Prepare to respond to athletic injuries or emergencies in the workplace, providing immediate care and coordinating with external medical professionals if necessary.
- Research and Development: Stay current with the latest trends, research, and developments in athletic therapy and employee wellness to continuously improve our programs and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Therapy, Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years to 7 years of experience as an Athletic Therapist or in a similar role.
- Certification and licensure as an Athletic Therapist in accordance with local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and workplace ergonomics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in corporate wellness or financial services environments.
- Familiarity with digital tools and software for tracking employee wellness and progress.
- Ability to create engaging and informative educational materials.
