Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our team in Dubai, specializing in the maintenance and repair of healthcare transportation vehicles. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet, which includes ambulances and other medical transport vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of healthcare vehicles, including ambulances, patient transport vans, and other specialized medical transport vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations specific to healthcare transportation.
- Replace or repair faulty components, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to understand specific vehicle needs and ensure timely and effective repairs.
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service to healthcare personnel by communicating repair status and addressing concerns.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification from an automotive technology program is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an auto mechanic, preferably with experience in emergency or healthcare vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Proficient with various tools and equipment used in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Valid UAE driving license is required; experience with emergency vehicle operations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations related to vehicle maintenance is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
