Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Manager Assistant to support our dynamic service department in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, excellent organizational skills, and a strong desire to contribute to a fast-paced environment. This role is critical in ensuring our service operations run smoothly and effectively, meeting the needs of our customers in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist the Automotive Service Manager with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining service records, and managing customer inquiries.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers, assess their service needs, and provide them with information about our services and pricing. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Help coordinate service appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling to maximize efficiency. Communicate effectively with technicians and service personnel to streamline workflow.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels of automotive parts and supplies, ensuring that stock is maintained at appropriate levels and reordering as necessary.
- Reporting: Support the preparation of service reports, performance metrics, and inventory reports to help track service department performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all service protocols are followed, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized service environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with service technicians and other team members to foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Training and Development: Participate in training programs as required to develop knowledge of automotive technologies, customer service techniques, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in automotive repair or management is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in an automotive service environment, preferably in a managerial support role.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with automotive repair processes, service department operations, and diagnostic tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and service management software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Customer Service Orientation: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
