Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Mechanic to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in avionics systems, with a focus on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic systems in aircraft. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet's avionics equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in avionics systems using appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on aircraft electronics and systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and modifications to existing avionics systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and manuals to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and aviation regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior mechanics and other team members.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in avionics technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in avionics, aviation technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in avionics maintenance and repair within the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of avionics systems, including but not limited to GPS, radar, autopilot, and communication systems.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment necessary for avionics troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards, including FAA or EASA certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with both commercial and private aircraft avionics systems.
- Certification from a recognized aviation authority (e.g., FAA A&P License, EASA Part-66 License).
- Knowledge of information technology systems related to aviation, including software used for avionics diagnostics.
