Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Background Check Specialist Assistant to join our Human Resources team in the Agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our hiring process by conducting thorough background checks on potential employees. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct Background Checks: Perform comprehensive background checks on candidates, including employment verification, education verification, criminal record checks, and reference checks.

- Data Entry & Management: Accurately input and maintain candidate information in the HR database, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies and legal regulations.

- Communication: Liaise with previous employers, educational institutions, and references to gather necessary information. Effectively communicate findings to the HR team and hiring managers.

- Compliance: Ensure that all background check processes are compliant with local laws and regulations, as well as company policies. Stay updated on changes in legislation regarding background checks.

- Reporting: Generate reports on background check findings, highlighting any discrepancies or red flags to the HR team for further review.

- Support HR Team: Assist the HR team with various administrative tasks related to the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and preparing onboarding documentation for new hires.

- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all candidate information and background check results, adhering to data protection regulations.

- Continuous Improvement: Provide suggestions for enhancing background check processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the agriculture industry or a related field.

- Skills:
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR database management systems.

- Personal Attributes:
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
