We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banking Assistant to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations and financial services, with experience in the construction industry being a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage construction project loans, including reviewing loan applications, preparing loan documents, and coordinating with lenders
- Monitor and track construction project budgets and expenses, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and regulations
- Assist in managing construction project cash flow and financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and financial institutions to resolve any banking or financial issues that may arise during the construction process
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for construction projects, providing insights and recommendations for improving financial performance
- Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies to optimize construction project financing and profitability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- [X] years of experience in banking operations or financial services (experience in the construction industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of banking and financial principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software applications
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
