Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Operations Manager to oversee the billing processes within our manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing operations team, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a thorough understanding of billing systems and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the billing operations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and achievement of departmental goals.
- Oversee the entire billing cycle, from invoice generation to payment collection, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement efficient billing processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and manufacturing, to ensure accurate billing information and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Analyze billing data and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement, and make recommendations to enhance the billing process.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing operations and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Manage customer billing inquiries and resolve issues related to invoices, payments, and account statements in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all billing activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in billing operations and implement changes as necessary.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting related to billing operations and contribute to overall financial planning.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in billing operations or accounts receivable management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of billing systems and software, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
