Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Billing Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Real Estate sector. The ideal candidate will assist in the timely and accurate processing of billing and invoicing for our clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring all charges are accurate and documented.
- Review and verify billing information and contracts to ensure proper billing procedures are followed.
- Maintain meticulous records of all billing transactions and client communications.
- Assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable and resolve discrepancies in billing as they arise.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure a smooth billing process and address any client inquiries or issues related to billing.
- Monitor payment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Generate regular reports on billing activity, outstanding invoices, and payment status for management review.
- Assist in the development and implementation of billing procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as required, including data entry and filing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
