Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Technician to join our retail team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment used in retail healthcare settings. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring that all biomedical equipment operates safely and effectively to support patient care and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment, including diagnostic devices, therapeutic machines, and other healthcare-related technologies.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with retail staff to provide training on the proper use and care of medical devices and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of biomedical equipment.
- Work with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical support and parts for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new medical equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in biomedical technology and healthcare regulations.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and service requests from retail locations to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical staff regarding equipment functionality and troubleshooting.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to biomedical equipment use.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a retail healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations and safety standards.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, technical diagnostics, and repair of biomedical equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with retail staff and customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Familiarity with electronic and mechanical systems, as well as software applications used in medical devices.
- Certification in biomedical equipment technology or a related field is a plus.
