Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Manager to lead and enhance our healthcare information systems in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT systems, project management, and strategic planning. This role is critical in ensuring that our systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with the overall objectives of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of healthcare information systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Patient Management Systems, and other relevant applications.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to determine system requirements and ensure that the technology solutions meet the needs of all stakeholders.

- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data from various healthcare systems to provide insights and support decision-making processes. Develop reports and dashboards for management to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all systems comply with relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices, including data privacy and security protocols.

- Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for staff on new systems and technologies. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system users.

- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and service delivery for all IT systems.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase operational efficiency and improve patient care services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing healthcare information systems, with a proven track record in a similar role.

- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and clinical operations.

- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with experience in Agile or Waterfall approaches.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Familiarity with health IT standards and frameworks, such as HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance.

- Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software.
