Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiovascular technology and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The Cardiac Technician will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of heart-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnostic Testing:
Conduct various cardiac tests including electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring. Ensure accurate data collection and patient preparation for each test.

- Patient Care:
Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Explain testing procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure understanding.

- Equipment Maintenance:
Operate and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment, ensuring all devices are functioning correctly and safely. Perform routine checks and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.

- Data Analysis:
Analyze test results, prepare reports, and present findings to cardiologists. Ensure timely documentation of procedures and results in the electronic medical record system.

- Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Participate in patient rounds and case discussions as required.

- Education and Training:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac technology and healthcare practices. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

- Regulatory Compliance:
Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards, including infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Certification from a recognized body (e.g., Registered Cardiac Technician (RCT) or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures.
- Proficient in operating cardiac diagnostic equipment and interpreting test results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

- Work in a clinical setting, with potential exposure to electrical equipment and patient care environments.
- May require standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility.
