Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team in the Information Technology sector. This role involves supporting our carpentry team in the design, construction, and installation of wooden structures and fixtures related to IT infrastructure and office setups. The ideal candidate will be passionate about carpentry and possess a keen interest in integrating technology with traditional craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the measurement, cutting, and shaping of wood, plywood, and other materials for various projects.
- Help install, maintain, and repair wooden structures, including desks, cabinets, and other furniture pieces relevant to IT environments.
- Collaborate with senior carpenters and project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing tools and materials, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, following company safety protocols.
- Support in the assembly and installation of IT equipment enclosures and custom furniture solutions.
- Maintain inventory of materials and tools, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
- Participate in quality control checks to ensure all work meets the company's high standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor issues during the installation process.
- Attend training sessions to develop skills and stay updated with the latest carpentry techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or related fields is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or related fields, preferably within the technology sector.
- Basic understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in the carpentry industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
