Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector based in Dubai. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will be responsible for driving the technological strategy and innovation that supports our business objectives and enhances our competitive advantage in the real estate market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy & Vision:
- Develop and articulate a clear technology vision and strategy aligned with the company’s goals and business objectives.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends that could enhance our service offerings and operational efficiencies.

2. Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a talented team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives for the technology team.

3. Infrastructure & Systems Management:
- Ensure the robustness, security, and scalability of our technology infrastructure and systems.
- Oversee the design and implementation of IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

4. Data Management & Analytics:
- Drive the development of data analytics capabilities to leverage data for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices in data security.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance) to understand their technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including technology partners, vendors, and industry groups to build strategic alliances.

6. Project Management:
- Oversee major technology projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Utilize project management methodologies to ensure accountability and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend technology investments that drive business value.

8. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all technology practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly in relation to real estate transactions and data security.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology leadership role, preferably within the real estate industry or a related sector.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of real estate technology trends, including PropTech advancements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
