Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Claims Examiner to join our dynamic team in the Energy sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims processing, with a specific focus on energy-related claims, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in evaluating and resolving claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Assessment: Review and analyze insurance claims related to energy projects, including but not limited to property damage, liability, and business interruption claims.
- Documentation Review: Examine all relevant documents, including contracts, invoices, and loss reports, to verify the validity and accuracy of claims.
- Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence and information necessary for making informed decisions, including interviews with claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties.
- Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, risk managers, and legal teams to ensure compliance with policy terms and conditions while maintaining high service standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with claimants, providing updates on claim status and addressing any questions or concerns they may have throughout the process.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation outlining findings, recommendations, and the rationale for claim decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
- Claims Management: Maintain an organized claims file management system, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the claims handling process and contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in claims examination or a related field, preferably within the energy sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and make sound decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations specific to the energy industry is highly desirable.
