Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of clinical operations within the consumer goods sector, focusing on products related to health and wellness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical management, project coordination, and regulatory compliance to enhance our operational efficiency and product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clinical Study Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical studies related to consumer goods, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all clinical operations are compliant with relevant local and international regulations, guidelines, and best practices. Collaborate with regulatory bodies as necessary.

- Team Leadership: Lead a team of clinical coordinators and research associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including research and development, marketing, and quality assurance to align clinical operations with company objectives.

- Data Management: Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical data, ensuring integrity and accuracy. Develop and maintain databases for tracking clinical study progress.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for clinical operations, ensuring the efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.

- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in clinical operations and develop mitigation strategies to address them promptly.

- Protocol Development: Assist in the design and development of clinical study protocols and informed consent documents, ensuring clarity and compliance with ethical standards.

- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and process improvements within the clinical operations team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for internal teams on clinical operations protocols, regulatory requirements, and data management practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical operations, preferably within the consumer goods or health and wellness sector.

- Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory requirements.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a strong attention to detail.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

- Proficiency in clinical trial management software and databases.

- Familiarity with global regulatory requirements and industry standards.
