Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-oriented Commercial Diver to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for underwater inspections, maintenance, and construction tasks related to marine structures and facilities, ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct underwater inspections of marine structures, including piers, docks, and other real estate developments, to assess their condition and report findings.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on underwater structures, such as cleaning, welding, and sealing, ensuring the integrity and safety of the facilities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute diving operations in alignment with project timelines and specifications.
- Operate and maintain diving equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and comply with safety standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of all diving activities, including inspection findings and maintenance performed.
- Assist in the preparation of diving plans and risk assessments to ensure safe and effective operations.
- Train and mentor junior divers and support staff on diving procedures, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
- Stay updated on the latest diving techniques, technologies, and industry standards to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in commercial diving is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial diving, preferably in a construction or real estate environment.
- Certified in diving safety and first aid; certifications such as ADCI, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proficient in underwater welding, cutting, and inspection techniques.
- Strong understanding of marine construction practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members.
- Willingness to work in varying underwater conditions and at times in remote locations.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be physically fit and able to pass a diving medical examination.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks in challenging underwater environments.

Work Environment:

- This position requires working in a range of underwater environments, potentially including limited visibility and varying temperatures.
- Frequent travel to various project locations may be required.
