Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrician to join our team in the healthcare sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations, maintenance, and repair, specifically in commercial settings, with a focus on healthcare facilities. This position requires a commitment to high safety standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team to ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on electrical systems to identify and resolve any issues promptly.

- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose electrical problems and perform repairs on a variety of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, control systems, and emergency backup systems.
- Utilize test equipment and diagnostic tools to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to local regulations, safety codes, and healthcare standards.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed to improve safety practices.

- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, and maintenance staff, to ensure cohesive operations within the facility.
- Support project managers and supervisors in delivering electrical projects on time and within budget.

- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports on electrical system performance and recommendations for improvements.

- Emergency Response:
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency electrical repairs, responding swiftly to ensure minimal disruption to healthcare operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans related to electrical systems.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Valid UAE electrical license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3-8 years of experience working as a commercial electrician, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and at varying heights.
