Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will support our communications department in executing effective communication strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage stakeholders, and promote our products and initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, contributing to impactful projects aimed at improving health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:
- Assist in the development and preparation of various communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, articles, and social media content.
- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure messaging is consistent with the company’s brand voice and objectives.

2. Social Media Management:
- Manage and update the company’s social media profiles, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, trending topics, and industry news, and report findings to the communications team.

3. Event Support:
- Provide logistical support for internal and external events, including conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Assist in the preparation of promotional materials and communication collateral for events.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, media representatives, and industry partners.
- Assist in organizing meetings and preparing necessary materials for stakeholder interactions.

5. Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and communications best practices to inform strategy development.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.

6. Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized records of communications materials, media coverage, and stakeholder interactions.
- Assist in the management of the communications calendar, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are on track.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in communications, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
