Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Computer Systems Analyst Assistant to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the evaluation and analysis of existing computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of new software applications and system enhancements in collaboration with senior analysts and IT teams.
- Document system specifications, user requirements, and workflow processes to ensure clarity and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather and define requirements for system modifications and new applications.
- Conduct data analysis and report generation using various tools to support decision-making processes within the organization.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, providing timely support to end-users and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Participate in user training sessions to educate staff on new systems, tools, and processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in computer systems analysis and financial services.
- Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting on project status.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a computer systems analysis or a related position, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proficient in data analysis, with experience using tools such as SQL, Excel, or other data visualization software.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and software development methodologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial systems and processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
