Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction projects. The role demands a commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment on construction sites.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment, identifying any issues or maintenance needs to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand project specifications and execute tasks accordingly.
- Assist in site preparation, including grading, excavation, and material handling, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor equipment performance and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, time spent on tasks, and materials used.
- Adhere to all environmental regulations and company policies to ensure sustainable and responsible operations.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in equipment operation and safety.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in heavy equipment operation or construction management are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment, preferably in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Proven ability to operate various types of construction machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Valid UAE driver’s license and relevant machinery operating licenses/certifications.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and on uneven surfaces.
- Tolerance for working at heights and in confined spaces.
