We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Engineer to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi. The Cost Engineer will be responsible for analyzing project costs, preparing budget estimates, monitoring expenses, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Monitor project expenses and track budget variances
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost-saving strategies
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management
- Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
- Review and approve project invoices and change orders
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and expenses
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on cost-related matters
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in cost engineering

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- [X] years of experience in cost engineering in the construction industry
- Proficient in cost estimating software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of construction processes and materials
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- UAE driving license is a plus
