Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Assistant to join our finance team in the pharmaceutical sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment and approval of credit applications for new and existing customers, ensuring compliance with company credit policies and guidelines.
- Monitor customer accounts and payment histories, identifying any potential credit risks and flagging them for management review.
- Support the preparation of credit reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide credit information and facilitate timely order processing.
- Handle incoming inquiries related to credit accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer credit limits and terms, updating the database as needed.
- Assist in the collection of overdue accounts, working with customers to establish payment plans and negotiate terms where necessary.
- Process and analyze credit applications using credit scoring systems and other financial assessment tools.
- Prepare regular reports on credit status, outstanding balances, and collection activities for management review.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to credit management in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department, including data entry, filing, and document management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in credit management, finance, or accounting, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of credit assessment processes, financial statements, and analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
