Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Manager Assistant to join our team in the healthcare sector in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will assist the Credit Manager in managing credit risk, analyzing patient accounts, and ensuring timely collections while maintaining strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers. This role is crucial to ensuring the financial health of our organization and supporting our mission to provide quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Credit Manager in evaluating and approving credit applications for patients and healthcare providers.
- Monitor and analyze patient accounts to identify overdue payments and develop strategies for collection.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all credit transactions, adjustments, and collections activities.
- Communicate with patients regarding their accounts, payment terms, and any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the billing department to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate invoicing.
- Conduct regular reviews of credit policies and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in preparing reports on credit performance, including aging reports, collection rates, and bad debt analysis.
- Support the Credit Manager in conducting credit risk assessments and developing credit policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in the healthcare industry.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, patients, and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in credit management, accounts receivable, or a related financial role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and staff.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with accounting software.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing and coding procedures is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
