Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) to join our team in Dubai, focusing on the transportation and logistics sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in crime scene investigation, forensic science, and evidence collection, with the ability to work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies and internal teams to ensure the integrity and security of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Crime Scene Investigation: Respond to incidents involving potential criminal activity within the transportation and logistics sectors, including warehouses, distribution centers, and transport hubs. Conduct thorough examinations of crime scenes, documenting evidence with photographs, sketches, and written reports.

- Evidence Collection and Preservation: Collect, package, and preserve physical evidence from crime scenes, ensuring proper handling techniques to maintain the chain of custody. Utilize advanced forensic methods and technologies to analyze evidence related to theft, fraud, and other criminal activities impacting logistics operations.

- Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Serve as a liaison between the organization and local law enforcement agencies. Provide expert testimony in court when necessary, and assist in the investigation of crimes by providing detailed reports and analysis.

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze crime patterns and trends within transportation and logistics operations. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations for improvements, and strategies to enhance security measures.

- Training and Awareness: Develop training programs for staff regarding crime prevention, security protocols, and emergency response procedures. Conduct workshops and seminars to raise awareness about potential security threats and best practices for reporting suspicious activities.

- Policy Development: Assist in the formulation and implementation of security policies and procedures tailored to the unique needs of the transportation and logistics sector. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in forensic technology, crime scene investigation techniques, and industry trends. Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in crime scene investigation, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of forensic science principles and practices, including evidence collection and analysis.
- Proficient in the use of forensic tools and technologies, as well as crime scene photography techniques.
- Excellent analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and provide testimony in legal proceedings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to crime scene investigation and evidence handling.
