Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats by implementing security measures, monitoring networks, and responding to incidents. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will work collaboratively with IT teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify potential security weaknesses and threats.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard the organization’s information systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into the organization’s infrastructure and applications.
- Investigate and analyze security breaches and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for remediation.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions, and recommend improvements to existing security measures.
- Provide security awareness training to employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Assist in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and local regulatory requirements.
- Participate in incident response planning and execution, including table-top exercises and drills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related IT field.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and network security technologies.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to security challenges.
