Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our dynamic education team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the training and development of future sonographers, providing both theoretical instruction and practical training to students in the field of medical imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality instruction in ultrasound technology and practices, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular sonography.
- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, ensuring alignment with current industry standards and practices.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions in our state-of-the-art ultrasound labs, guiding students through the operation of ultrasound equipment and interpretation of images.
- Evaluate student performance through practical assessments, examinations, and feedback sessions, providing constructive guidance to foster their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to enhance the educational curriculum and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and medical imaging practices, integrating new knowledge into the teaching curriculum.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and community outreach programs to promote the sonography program and its contributions to healthcare.
- Assist in the recruitment and mentoring of students interested in pursuing a career in diagnostic medical sonography.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Certification from a recognized body such as the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with a strong background in various ultrasound modalities.
- Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Proficiency in the use of ultrasound technology and software, as well as other relevant medical imaging equipment.

Work Environment:

This position will be based in a modern educational facility equipped with advanced ultrasound technology. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will engage with students in both classroom and laboratory settings, promoting an interactive and hands-on learning experience.
