Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector Assistant to join our dynamic team in the energy sector. The successful candidate will support the electrical inspection process, ensuring compliance with local and international standards and regulations. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about electrical systems and eager to contribute to the safety and efficiency of energy projects in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Electrical Inspector in conducting inspections of electrical installations, including power distribution systems, renewable energy systems, and electrical equipment.
- Review electrical plans and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct field visits to construction sites, ensuring that electrical work is performed according to approved plans and specifications.
- Document inspection findings and prepare reports outlining compliance status, deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address electrical safety concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of inspection procedures and checklists.
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to electrical installations and energy systems.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as necessary.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Electrical Inspector or management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical inspections or related roles within the energy sector.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including IEC, NEC, and local regulations.
- Familiarity with renewable energy systems, such as solar and wind, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inspection software tools.
