Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Inspector to join our team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards, conducting inspections, and promoting best practices in environmental management. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations applicable to the aerospace and defense industries, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities and operations within the aerospace and defense sector to ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations.
- Evaluate environmental management systems, policies, and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, including compliance status, violations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement environmental compliance programs and initiatives.
- Monitor and assess the impact of operational activities on the environment, including air and water quality, waste management, and resource consumption.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and provide necessary documentation and reports as required.
- Stay informed about changes in environmental legislation, regulations, and industry standards that may affect operations.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees on environmental compliance and sustainability practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans related to environmental incidents.
- Participate in environmental audits and assessments as part of continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in environmental compliance, inspections, or a related field, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards applicable to the aerospace and defense sectors.
- Familiarity with environmental management systems (EMS) and sustainability practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and guidelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental compliance software tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
