Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Environmental Consultant Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support our environmental consulting services with a specific focus on sustainable agricultural practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of agriculture and environmental science, contributing to projects that promote sustainability and resource conservation in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior consultants in conducting environmental assessments and evaluations related to agricultural practices.
- Gather and analyze data on soil health, water quality, biodiversity, and other environmental parameters relevant to agriculture.
- Support the development of environmental management plans and sustainability reports for agricultural projects.
- Conduct field visits to agricultural sites to collect samples and monitor compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with farmers, landowners, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable agricultural methods and technologies.
- Research and stay updated on environmental regulations, policies, and technologies related to agriculture in the UAE and the broader region.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications for sustainable agriculture projects.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project files, and coordinating logistics for fieldwork.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Agricultural Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, agriculture, or a related field.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in the UAE, particularly in the agricultural sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with data analysis software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information:

- This position may require occasional travel to agricultural sites within the UAE.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
