Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ESL Teacher to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in English language instruction for healthcare professionals. This role is critical in enhancing the communication skills of healthcare staff, ensuring they can effectively interact with patients and colleagues in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver engaging ESL lesson plans that cater to the specific needs of healthcare professionals, focusing on medical terminology, patient interaction, and professional communication.
- Assess students' language proficiency and tailor teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and levels of English language ability.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters confidence in speaking and using English in a healthcare context.
- Utilize a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance learning experiences, including multimedia tools, online platforms, and real-life healthcare scenarios.
- Collaborate with healthcare administrators to understand specific language needs and adapt curriculum accordingly.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students to track their progress and improve their language skills.
- Organize workshops and seminars on relevant topics, such as cultural competency in healthcare, to further enhance students’ understanding of effective communication within the industry.
- Stay updated on best practices in ESL teaching methodologies and healthcare communication trends to continuously improve instructional techniques.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or a related field. A TESOL/TEFL certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical vocabulary, healthcare practices, and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of individuals in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for education.
