Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Producer to join our team in the education sector in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and impactful events that enhance the learning experience and foster community engagement. As an Event Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, from concept development to post-event evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Event Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement event strategies and plans that align with the organization’s educational goals. Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rental.

- Budget Management: Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and reported. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible rates.

- Content Development: Collaborate with educators, speakers, and stakeholders to curate engaging content for events, including workshops, seminars, and conferences. Ensure that all materials are aligned with the educational objectives.

- Marketing and Promotion: Design and execute marketing strategies to promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and community outreach. Create promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and online content.

- On-Site Management: Oversee all on-site activities during events, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any challenges that arise. Manage event staff and volunteers to ensure effective operations.

- Evaluation and Reporting: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event, gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders. Prepare detailed reports and presentations highlighting outcomes and areas for improvement.

- Networking and Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key partners, sponsors, and stakeholders in the education sector. Identify opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in event production or management, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Proficient in using event management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Familiarity with the local education landscape and community is a plus.
