Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Laborer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi’s retail agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will assist in various farm operations, ensuring the efficient production and maintenance of crops while adhering to safety and quality standards. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new agricultural techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

- Crop Management: Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting a variety of crops, ensuring optimal growth conditions and adherence to agricultural practices.
- Field Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks including weeding, watering, and fertilizing crops, as well as managing pests and diseases using approved methods.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and used safely.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of crop production, labor hours, and any issues that arise during farming operations.
- Harvesting Procedures: Participate in the harvesting process, ensuring that crops are picked at the right time and handled properly to minimize damage.
- Storage Management: Assist in the packaging, labeling, and storage of harvested products, ensuring they meet quality standards for retail sale.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and fellow team members.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other farm staff and management to achieve production goals and improve farm operations.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience in agricultural or farm-related work. Experience in retail agriculture is a plus.
- Education: Completion of high school or equivalent; additional agricultural training or certification is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of farming practices and crop management.
- Familiarity with operating farm equipment and tools.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new farming techniques.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
