Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Fashion Assistant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support our design and merchandising teams in the development and execution of our product lines. This role is crucial in ensuring that our fashion offerings align with market trends and customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Design Team: Assist the design team in the creation of seasonal collections by providing research, sketches, and fabric swatches. Help organize and maintain design archives and samples.

- Trend Research: Conduct thorough research on fashion trends, competitor analysis, and consumer preferences to provide insights that inform product development and marketing strategies.

- Sample Management: Coordinate the organization and management of samples, ensuring that they are properly labeled, cataloged, and available for presentations and fittings.

- Merchandising Assistance: Collaborate with the merchandising team to prepare for seasonal launches, including assisting in the development of product assortments and visual merchandising strategies.

- Showroom Support: Help prepare the showroom for client visits, including the setup of displays and the organization of product lines. Act as a point of contact for clients during showroom appointments.

- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining documentation related to fashion projects.

- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of fashion shows, promotional events, and trade shows, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.

- Social Media and Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on social media content creation and promotional materials, contributing to the brand’s online presence and engagement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a fashion-related role, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, textile types, and garment construction.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an eye for detail.
- Creative mindset with a passion for fashion and a keen sense of style.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
