Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Film Critic Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cinema and a keen eye for detail. This role will involve providing administrative support to our Film Critic, assisting with research and analysis of films, and coordinating logistics for film screenings and events.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Film Critic in researching and analyzing films
- Coordinate logistics for film screenings and events
- Manage the Film Critic's schedule and appointments
- Prepare and distribute press materials and film reviews
- Maintain a database of films and film-related information
- Assist with social media management and content creation
- Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Communications, or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of film history and industry trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required (under 8 years of experience)
