Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Film Editor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that convey complex scientific information in an engaging manner. As a Film Editor, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality video content that supports our marketing, educational, and internal communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, corporate presentations, and educational materials.
- Review and select the best takes, ensuring that the final product aligns with the vision and objectives of each project.
- Incorporate visual effects, sound, graphics, and music to enhance the storytelling and viewer experience.
- Ensure all edited content meets quality standards and complies with industry regulations and company guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity and professionalism.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve editing skills and the quality of outputs.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to create impactful video campaigns that effectively communicate our brand message and product information.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance video content.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in film editing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of video production processes, including pre-production and post-production.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry regulations related to pharmaceutical marketing and communications is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
