Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Financial Examiner to join our dynamic team in the retail sector based in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights to enhance financial performance. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of financial statements, records, and reports to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assess the accuracy and completeness of financial information provided by retail operations and identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Review and analyze financial processes and controls to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans to address identified issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement financial best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and advise management on necessary adjustments.
- Conduct risk assessments related to financial activities and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Assist in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Provide training and support to retail staff on financial policies and procedures to promote compliance and financial literacy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and practices relevant to the retail industry.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in financial examination, auditing, or a related role, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA) is preferred but not required.
