Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Pathologist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forensic medicine and pathology, with a commitment to providing expert analysis and insights in various retail-related cases. This role involves performing autopsies, conducting investigations, and providing expert testimony in legal proceedings, all while collaborating closely with law enforcement agencies, legal teams, and retail management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough post-mortem examinations and autopsies to determine cause and manner of death in cases related to retail incidents, including accidents, homicides, and unexplained deaths.
- Analyze medical records, toxicology reports, and other relevant documents to provide comprehensive forensic evaluations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, retail security teams, and legal counsel to assist in criminal investigations and provide expert opinions on forensic evidence.
- Prepare detailed written reports summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Provide expert testimony in court as needed, clearly articulating complex medical and forensic concepts to non-medical audiences.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in forensic pathology, retail industry trends, and relevant legislation to enhance professional practice.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to case reviews and discussions, fostering a collaborative approach to forensic investigations.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and interns in forensic pathology techniques and practices.

Qualifications:

- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Forensic Pathology.
- Board certification in Forensic Pathology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic pathology, with a focus on cases related to retail incidents preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail in forensic investigations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Experience in providing expert testimony in court is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to forensic pathology in the UAE.
